Christophoros 46 was a basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Abydos; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 3088. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τ. - σω - δου - λω in the corners. - .. The name and titles read: W. Seibt, Review of Zacos and Veglery, in ByzSlav 36 (1975), 212, proposed that the last letters be read as Κηβυρ (for Κιβυῤῥαιωτον) instead of Αβυδ (for Αβυδου), but was uncertain of the correct reading.
