Christophoros 31 was basilikos protospatharios, epi tou kanikleiou and protoasekretis; owner of two similar seals dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos II 112 (two seals). Obv. (both seals): patriarchal cross on base and three steps; circular inscription of Κ(ύρι)ε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Rev. The name and titles read: An official with the same name and titles subscribed the Acts of the Eighth Ecumenical Council in 870 (Mansi XVI 190, 409: "Christoforo proto a secretis et praeposito caniculi"), possibly the same individual.
