Christophoros 21 was a basilikos vestitor and anagrapheus of the Dodekanesos; owner of a seal dateable to the middle or late ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 194. no. 3 (ninth century) = Mordtmann, "Plombs", II, p. 56f., no. 41. Obv.: invocative monogram of Κύριε βοήθει with the legend τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Rev.: +Χριστοφόρῳ β(ασιλικῷ) βεστίτορ(ι) (καὶ) ἀναγραφ(εῖ) ιβνισ(ου) (i.e. Δωδεκανησου). The line divisions are not recorded by Schlumberger. For the date, see Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 127, citing Seibt ("9. Jh., ca. 2. Hälfte").
