Christophoros 14 was a basilikos paraphylax of Abydos; owner of a seal dateable perhaps to the ninth or tenth century: Ebersolt, "Sceaux byzantins", p. 389, no. 458. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Rev.: Χρηστοφόρῳ βασιληκ[ῷ] [π]αραφύλακη Ἀβύδου. On the title, cf. Nesbitt and Oikonomides, DO Seals I, p. 50.

Possibly identical with Christophoros, basilikos paraphylax of Abydos, who owned another seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 40. 21 = Zacos and Veglery 1791. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Χρηστ - φορω βασιλι - κ' παραφυλακ - η Αβυδου. The name and title read: Χριστοφόρῳ βασιλικῷ παραφύλακι Ἀβύδου.
