Christophoros 10 was a patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Macedonia; owner of several seals dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals I 43.25 = Zacos and Veglery 1793a (obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with .ω - σω - .ου - λω in the corners; rev.: Χριστ[ο]φόρῳ πατ[ρι]κίῳ, β[ασιλικῷ] πρωτοσπ[αθαρίῳ καὶ] στρατ[ηγῷ] Μ[α]κεδον[ίασ]), 43.26 = Zacos and Veglery 1793b (obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε or Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - .. - δου - .. in the corners; rev.: [Χριστο]φόρῳ πα[τρικίῳ], β[ασιλικῷ] πρωτοσπα[θαρίῳ καὶ στ]ρατ[ηγῷ] Μα[κεδονίασ]. The seals are from different boulloteria; they perhaps belonged to the same person, but the name on the second seal could be restored as [Νικη]φόρῳ; see Nesbitt and Oikonomides, DO Seals I, p. 120, note.
