Bonos 3 was bishop of Maturianum; present at the Council of Rome in April 769: Lib. Pont. 96. 17 ("Bonus, episcopus civitate Maturiano"). The identification and location of Maturianum is uncertain; see Duchesne, Lib. Pont., p. 483, n. 43 (suggesting Monterano, near the via Clodia). He is named twenty-fourth in the list of bishops from Italy.
