Bikarios 1 was possibly the father of Konstantinos 12 (Κωνσταντῖνός τε ὁ τοῦ βικαρίου): Theoph. AM 6273. From the text it is not clear if Bikarios was the name of a man or of an office. The text could be understood to mean that Konstantinos was spatharios of the bikarios and domestikos of the Exkoubitores, but this is not a probable combination of titles. On the name, cf. Bikarios 2.
