Basilios 137 was a basilikos kandidatos and dioiketes of Sardis; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: DOSeals III 32.2. Obv.: patriarchal cross on two steps, with a circular inscription reading: Κ(υρι)ε βοηθη τω σω δουλω. Rev.: +Βασιλ - ειω β' καν - και διοικ' Σα - ρδις+. The name and titles read: Βασιλείῳ βασιλικῷ κανδιδάτῳ καὶ διοικητῇ Σάρδις.
