Basilios 109 was a basilikos spatharokandidatos and epi ton deeseon; owner of two similar seals dateable to the middle or late ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1786a = Laurent, Corpus II 240, Zacos and Veglery 1786b. Laurent dates the seals to the middle of the century, Zacos and Veglery to the second half. The name and titles read: Βασιλείῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν δεήσεων.
