Basilios 92 was a drouggarios of Hellas; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: DOSeals II 8.10 = Zacos and Veglery 3084. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου-λω in the corners. Rev.: Βασιλ. - ω δρου. - γαρ' τη[σ] - Ελλαδ'. The name and title on the reverse read: Βασιλείῳ δρουγγαρίῳ τῆς Ἑλλάδος. Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 94, raises the question whether this man was a subordinate officer or the commander of the army in Hellas.
