Basilios 86 was a hypatos and chartoularios of the genikon logothesion; owner of three seals dateable between the late seventh and mid eighth centuries; his name is lost from the seal in Zacos and Veglery: Laurent, Corpus II 354 (E/M VIII; two specimens), Zacos and Veglery 1231 (L VII/E VIII; a third specimen). The name and titles read: Βασιλεί - ῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ χαρτουλαρίῳ τοῦ γενικοῦ λογοθεσίου.
