Basilios 82 was a basilikos spatharokandidatos and epi ton oikeiakon; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos, Seals II 796. Obv.: bust of Virgin, with medallion of Christ; circular legend reading +Κ(ύρι)ε β(οήθει) τῷ σῷ δούλ(ῳ). Rev.: +Βασιλ - ειῳ β(ασιλικῷ) σπα - θαρ(ο)κανδ(ιδάτῳ) - (καὶ) ἐπὶ τόν - υκηακ(ῶν). The name and titles read: Βασιλείῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν οἰκειακῶν.
