Basilios 52 was basilikos spatharios and epi ton oikeiakon; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 556, no. 5 (no facsimile). Obv.: invocative monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with the legend τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Rev.: [Βασ]ιλ[είῳ] β(ασιλικῷ) σπαθαρ(ίῳ) (καὶ) ἐπ[ὶ τῶν] οἰκιακῶν.
