Basilios 41 was a spatharios; owner of a seal dateable perhaps to the seventh or eighth century: Ebersolt, "Sceaux byzantins", p. 399, no. 509. Obv.: indistinct personage. Rev.: invocative formula in the name of the Lord, and the legend Βασίλιος σπαθάριος.
