Basilios 30 was a basilikos protospatharios and doux of Calabria; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals I 4.1. The note in DOSeals I, loc. cit., mentions a similar seal "but seemingly from a different boulloterion" published in Schlumberger, Sigillographie, 221, no. 6 (= Konstantopoulos, JIAN 5, 116) and two others in Schlumberger, op. cit., 220 (from an article by Salinas) "with the same name and titles, but both appear to be unrelated to the boulloterion used to strike the DO one." The text of Schlumberger, Sig., 221, no. 6 (facsimile) (dated ninth century) reads as follows: obv.: invocative monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with the legend τῷ σῷ δούλῳ; rev.: Βασι[λ] - είῳ β(ασιλικῷ) (πρωτο)[σ] - παθ(αρίῳ) (καὶ) δου - κὶ Καλ(αβρίας). For the other two seals, see Basilios 50.
