Bardas 33 was a anthypatos, basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Thrakai; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Mushmov, "Sceaux de plombs", number 27. The name and titles read: Βάρδᾳ ἀνθυπάτῳ, βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ Θρᾴκων.
