Bardas 24 was a patrikios and basilikos protospatharios; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth: Zacos and Veglery 1752. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with [τ]ω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Βαρ - δα πατ - ρικ' και β' α' - σπαθα - ριω. The name and titles read: Βάρδᾳ πατρικίῳ καὶ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ.
