Bardas 10 was a basilikos spatharios and archon of the Strymon; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals I 37.1 = Zacos and Veglery 1753. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Βαρδα - β' σπα' και αρ - χοντ' Στ[ ρ] - ομονο'. The name and titles read: Βάρδᾳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἄρχοντι Στρομόνος. The identification of his office is uncertain; see Nesbitt and Oikonomides, note on DO Seals I, p. 104.
