Bardanes 12 was a dioiketes of Laodikeia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century; only the last letters of his name, ...ανη, can be read: Zacos and Veglery 1748. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .ω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ... - .ανη δ. - οικ' Λαοδ - ικια'. The name and titles read: [Βαρδ]άνῃ διοικητῇ Λαοδικείας.
