Bardanes 10 was a hypatos, basilikos spatharios and protostrator; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1749. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - δου - λω - σου in the corners. Rev.: +Βαρ - δανη υπ - ατω βασιλ' - σπαθαριω και - προτωστ - ρατωρι. The name and titles read: Βαρδάνῃ ὑπάτῳ, βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ πρωτοστράτωρι.
