Bardanes 6 was an anthypatos, patrikios and basilikos protospatharios; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 6, 296. The name and titles read: Konstantopoulos dated the seal to the eighth or ninth century but Seibt assigned it to the first half of the eighth century; see Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 35.
