Barbatos 2 was bishop of Forum Cornelii (in Flaminia, Italy); he was one of the hundred and twenty-five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger, p. 158, lines 12-13 (= Mansi XI 313-314) (Βαρβάτος ἐλάχιστος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐκκλησίας Κορνηλίας; the old Latin version printed in Riedinger calls his see "sanctae ecclesiae Corneliensis").
