Aurelianos 2 was bishop of Parentium in Istria; he was one of the hundred and twenty-five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger, p. 154, lines 15-18 (= Mansi XI 311- 312) (Αὐρηλιανὸς ἐλάχιστος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐκκλσίας Παρέντου ἐπαρχιας Ἰστρίας; the old Latin version printed in Riedinger calls his see: "sanctae ecclesiae Parentinae prouinciae Istriae").
