Auph 1 was the father of Souphian (Sufyan 1): Theoph. AM 6165 (Σουφιᾶν δέ, ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ Ἀΰφ). His Arabic name was `Awf: see Sufyan 1 (his son's full name was Sufyan b. `Awf al-Azari).
