Arsaber 18 was a patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and domestikos of the Scholai; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1734. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .ω - σω - .ου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Αρ.. - βηρ πα.. - ικ' β' α' σπ.. - και δομ' . - σχολ. The name and titles read: Ἀρσαβὴρ πατρικίῳ, βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ δομεστίκῳ τῶν σχολῶν. His name indicates an Armenian origin.
