Arsaber 8 was a praitor and kourator; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos, Seals II 93. Obv.: cross potent on base and three steps; circular inscription reading +Κ(ύρι)ε βοήθη τῷ σῷ δού(λῳ). Rev.: +Αρσα - β πρετ - (καὶ) κουρα - τορω. The name and titles read: Ἀρσαβὶρ πραίτωρι καὶ κουράτωρι. Arsaber 8's name suggests that he was of Armenian descent.
