Antonios 35 was a monk in the monastery of Sakkoudion soon after its foundation; he was one of the monks there who were guided by the example of Theodore the Stoudite (Theodoros 15): Vita B Theod. Stud., 245A, Vita C Theod. Stud., ยง12, p. 264. In Vita A Theod. Stud., 128B the list of monks gives the name Euthymios (cf. Euthymios 13) instead of Antonios, although one MS reads Antonios. He is probably identical with the monk Antonios, a disciple of Platon 1 at Sakkoudion, who was still alive in old age when he gave details of the way of life of Platon 1 to Theodoros 15 when the latter was working on his Laudatio Platonis: Theod. Stud., Laudatio Platonis, III 15 (817B).
