Antonios 26 was hegoumenos of the monastery of Kizara; mentioned in a letter written by Theodore the Stoudite (Theodoros 15) during the persecution under Leo V (Leo 15) (τὸν παρόντα διωγμὸν: p. 182, line 30) to the monastic community of Kizara as the successor to their (unnamed) recently deceased hegoumenos (ὑμῖν εἴασεν τὸν κύριον Ἀντώνιον καθηγούμενον: p. 182, lines 26-27): Theod. Stud. Ep. 67, pp. 181-182 (addressed τῇ ἀδελφότητι Κιζάρων; for the date, 815/820, see Fatouros, p. 208*f.).
