Antonios 17 was topoteretes of Katana; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 215 = p. 370-1, no. 3 (from Salinas, "Sigilli diplomatici"). The text given by Schlumberger reads: Θεοτόκε βοήθει (in cruciform monogram) τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Ἀντονίου (sic) τοποτηρητῇ Κατάνης. (Schlumberger noted that this seal was in the British Museum).
