Antonios 16 was the metropolitan bishop of Katana; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 896 = Schlumberger, Sig., p. 231, no. 2 = Laurent, Vat. 159. Obv.: invocative monogram of Κύριε βοήθει with the legend τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Rev.: +Αντο - νιωι μητρο - πολητηι πο - λεως Κατ - ανης.
