Antiochos 11 was a silentiarios, addressee of a letter from Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) written during Theodoros 15's exile under Leo V (Leo 15), between 815 and 818; Antiochos 11 had written to Theodoros 15 and asked for a reply; he was of noble family (his act in writing showed this, according to Theodoros 15 - φαίνῃ τίνος εἶ ὅρπηξ, τοῦ χρυσοῦ γένους, τῆς εὐσεβοῦς ῥίζης: p. 386, lines 4-5) and an iconophile (ἄχραντον διαμένον τῆς αἱρετικῆς κοινωνίας: p. 386, lines 8-9); Theodoros 15 refers to his piety (τῆς εὐσεβείας σου: p. 386, line 2) and to his dignity (ἐν ἀξιώματι: p. 386, lines 10-11): Theod. Stud., Ep. 256, p. 386 (addressed Ἀντιόχῳ σιλεντιαρίῳ; for the date, see Fatouros, p. 306*).
