Antiochos 5 was basilikos protospatharios, logothetes and strategos of Sicily; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 214, n. 2, no. 3 (from Salinas, "Sigilli diplomatici"). The text as given by Schlumberger reads: Θεοτόκε βοήθει (in cruciform monogram) τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Ἀντιόχου (sic) β(ασιλικῷ) (πρωτο)σπαθ(αρίῳ), λογοθ(έτῃ) κ(αὶ) στρ(ατηγῷ) Σικελ(ίας).
