Basilikos vestitor, Anthimos 8 was the owner of a seal dateable to the twenties or thirties of the ninth century: Seibt, Bleisiegel I, no. 107. Obv.: invocative monogram of Θε<οτό>κε β<ο>ήθει with the legend .ω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Ανθ. - μω β' βεστ - ητορι. The date is Seibt's. Possibly identical with Anthimos 15, but cf. Seibt, op. cit., p. 237.
