Anthimos 4 was bishop of Hyllarima in Caria; in 787 he was present at the first session of the Second Council of Nikaia (the Seventh Ecumenical Council) on 24 September 787: Mansi XII 998 (Ἀνθίμου ἐπισκόπου Ηυλαρίμων; the Latin version, at XII 997, reads: "Anthimo episcopo Hylarimensium"). He apparently attended no further sessions of the Council. Cf. Theophylaktos 21.
