anonymus 756 was sent as a novice to the monastery at Antidion under Ioseph 19 by Ignatios 9 (Ignatius the Deacon); he defected and left the monastery. Ignatios wrote an angry letter about him to Ioseph 19, in which he describes him as his spiritual son who was just reaching the age of discretion (εἰς μέτρον εὐλαβοῦς ἡλικίας: lines 15-16); he had received a blessing from their "holy and common Father" (probably Ioannikios 2): Ignatius Diac., Ep. 33.
