Anonymus 749 was a bishop of Noumerika; he was the addressee of a letter from Ignatius the Deacon (Ignatios 9; then bishop of Nikaia), rebuking him for failing to visit or receive Ignatios 9, who was his ecclesiastical superior, and warning him to mend his conduct on pain of punishment; he is styled ἡ ὑμετέρα ὁσιότης: Ignatius Diac., Ep. 11 (addressed τῷ ἐπισκόπῳ τῶν Νουμερικῶν).
