Anonymus 718 was a deacon who carried letters between Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) and the hegoumenos Nikephoros 66 in 796 at the beginning of the Moechian dispute: Theod. Stud., Ep. 4 (c. 795/796). He may be identical with the deacon Theophilos 50, or possibly with Photeinos 21 (cf. Thomas Pratsch, Theodoros Studites (759-826) - zwischen Dogma und Pragma (Berliner Byzantinische Studien 4) (1998), pp. 23-24).
