Anonymus 699 was a basilikos spatharios and tourmarches; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Laurent, Orghidan 343. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .ω - .. - δου - .. in the corners. Rev.: .... - β' σπα. - . τουρ. - αρχ'. The titles read: βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ τουρμάρχῃ. Traces of letters of the name can be read as α or λ and ε or ς.
