Anonymus 658 was the eparch ,who in 652/653 took part in the interrogation of Maximos 10 (Maximus the Confessor) in the sekreton of the palace at Constantinople; Anonymus 658 asked Maximos 10 if he was in communion with the church of Constantinople, and if not, why not; further he asked him why the names of the patriarchs were included in the diptychs if, as Maximos 10 claimed, they rejected the ecumenical councils, and could he prove his claim: Relatio Motionis XIII, 128.
