Anonymus 657 was the eparch, who in September 656 received Maximos 10 (Maximus the Confessor) with Anastasios 1 and Anastasios 66, all already anathematised and sentenced to exile; he had them all mutilated and sent them into exile: Acta Primi Exilii, appendix (PG 90, 169D-172B) 172B.
