Anonymus 631 was given command of troops by the emperor Leo V (Leo 15) and sent against the force under Konstantios 1, the adopted son of the rebel Thomas 7; Anonymus 631 was not a good general and had inadequate forces and was defeated: Genesius II 4. The dating of this event under Leo V (Leo 15) is perhaps dubious; Thomas 7 did not rebel until the reign of Michael II (Michael 10), and did not adopt Konstantios 1 as his son until he rebelled.
