Anonymus 613 was an acquaintance of the patriarch Photius (Photios 1), who commended Anonymus 613 to his brother Tarasios 5 because of Anonymus 613's good qualities; Anonymus 613 was judged worthy of Tarasios 5's friendship and support (φιλανθρωπία): Photius, Ep. 153 (II 9 Laourdas-Westerink). Possibly one of the secular clients of the family, commended to the patronage of Tarasios 5.
