Anonymus 560 was the nephew (ἀνέψιος) of Gregorios 48; he became hegoumenos of the monastery of the Agauroi on his uncle's death and was succeeded in turn on his own death by Eustratios 19: Sabas, Vita Ioannicii 32, Petrus, Vita Ioannicii 59 (διαδέχεται δὲ τὴν ἡγουμενίαν ὁ τούτου (sc. of Gregorios) ἀνέψιος). For the date when he became hegoumenos, probably c. 825/829, see Gregorios 48. His name was Eustathios; see Vita Eustratii 7-8, pp. 372-373.
