Anonymus 543 was an anthypatos, patrikios and basilikos protospatharios; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century; his name is lost but included the letter .ς...: Zacos and Veglery 2574. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .ω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .ς.... - ανθυπατ .. - τρικηω και.. - σπαθα. The name and titles read: .ς... ἀνθυπάτῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ.
