Anonymus 542 was an anthypatos, patrikios and genikos logothetes; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century; his name is uncertain, but ended with the letters γιος (?Georgios, Sergios): Zacos and Veglery 2573. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - .. - δου - .. in the corners. Rev.: ...γιω - .....τ' πατ - ....ηκω λο - .οθετ' . The name and titles read: ...γίῳ ἀνθυπάτῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ γενικῷ λογοθέτῃ.
