Anonymus 538 was a basilikos vestitor(?) and kommerkiarios of Pontos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century; his name is lost but ended with the letters ος: Zacos and Veglery 2671A. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .ω - ς. - δου - .ω in the corners. Rev.: .... - ..ω β' βε.. - ..μερκ' - τ' Ποντ. The name and titles read: ... ῳ βασιλικῷ βε[στίτορι] καὶ κομμερκιαρίῳ τοῦ Πόντου.
