Anonymus 517 was a basilikos mandator; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century; most of his name is lost but it included the letters ....βα.ος (?Silbanos): Zacos and Veglery 2600. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - .. - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ....βα - .ω β' μαν - δατορι. The name and titles read: ....βα.ῳ βασιλικῷ μανδάτορι.
