Anonymus 503 was a basilikos protospatharios and domestikos of the Hikanatoi; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century; his name is lost but ended with the letters ος: Zacos and Veglery 3226. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .ω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: . ... - ..ω β' α' σπ. - θαριω και δομ - εστικ' των . - κανατ'. The name and titles read: ...ῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ δομεστίκῳ τῶν Ἱκανάτων. Cf. Ioannes 205 and Anonymus 160 for similar seals.
