Anonymus 491 was a spatharios and archon of Dalmatia; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth; his name is lost: Zacos and Veglery 2637. Obv.: cruciform monogram, probably of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with [.. - .. - δου - λ. in the corners. Rev.: ..... - ...... - ..παθαρ.. - αρχοντ. - Δαλματι. - ς. The titles read: ... σπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἄρχοντι Δαλματίας.
