Anonymus 486 was a basilikos protospatharios and domestikos of the basilike trapeza; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth; most of his name is lost but it contained the letters ...ετια.. (Dometianos, perhaps?): Zacos and Veglery 2625A. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .ω - σω - .ου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .. ... - .ετια' β' α' - .παθ' κ δο. - τ' τη' β' τρ. - πεζη.. The name and titles read: ...ετια( ) βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ δομεστίκῳ τῆς θείας βασιλικῆς τραπέζης. Perhaps Anonymus 486 was the domestikos of the hypourgia rather than the epi tes trapezes; cf. Oikonomides, Listes, pp. 305-306.
